Mosaic Children’s Choir

Modern Voices

In 2015, Victoria Redfearn Cave and Shelby Sender founded Mosaic with three goals: to perform in creative venues, to support age-appropriate singing, and to foster singers who are involved in integrated arts.

Creative Venues

Mosaic goes on location each year to produce a digital product.  We partner with our videographer Jesus Pinó Aguilar to create something special together.  We deeply believe as stated by choir conductor Henry Leck, that “Children are not artists in waiting.”

Age-Appropriate Singing

Mosaic is interested in teaching children about their voice.  How does it work?  How can it stay healthy?  How do you honor your sound as a young singer and develop habits to have a lifelong involvement with singing?

Integrated Arts

Mosaic is interested in fostering singers who enjoy multiple art forms.  We believe that a singer who is involved in playing an instrument, dancing, or on stage only makes our artistic community richer.  Our concerts and rehearsals like to incorporate elements of music, movement and speech to highlight the creativity of our participants.
